No pregnancy in the first place. She LIED to Kim Hyun Joong about being pregnant in 2014. [12][13][14/translated report]
There was no pregnancy to begin with. This was all a scam by her in order to receive money from him. She lied to Kim Hyun Joong about getting pregnant 5 times in the span of 8 months. She claimed to be pregnant in June 13, then aborted, was pregnant in December, aborted and then again in December a day after getting her period she was pregnant again. No woman can go through such nonsense. She is lying in order to aggravate the case so that Hyun Joong pays her without questioning further. [15][16]
She said to the media that she was receiving treatment for 2 weeks for the injury on 3oth May but she went out golfing on June 8th at Jeju, looking perfectly normal, bare of bruises. [17][18]
In her statements to the media she said she was repeatedly assaulted in the belly. However, in her own medical certificate and pictures of bruises, there is no mention about assault on belly. [19]
She said she was beat up 4 times in 2014 but in 2015 she says she was beat up 2 times. The second time was in July 28th as told to the media. She suddenly also claimed in 2015 that she was beat up in front of her sister who was there with her and some random celebrity. [20]
Her medical report says that she bumped into a health equipment at the gym on July 22nd. As KHJ and Choi were separated in July; her encounter with him was only when she barged into his house while breaking the latch to his house. [22][23]
Her rib injury on July 28th claimed to have taken a 6 weeks worth treatment. But, she was diagnosed on August 18th, 4 days prior to her filing the charges and expose to the media. How can one survive with a rib injury for 20 days without medical attention? [24][25]
There is a huge gap between the injury/bruises pics and the alleged injury date. Also, the pics shown by her is not in a hospital. If you look closely, you will see floral printed bedsheets and the background is not of a hospital.[26] [27]
Clinic number 1: Her bruises medical certificate acquired by her with a statement “beaten by another” on May 31st. This report was received solely on her statement. [28][29]
Clinic A: The medical report for the rib injury was acquired by her statement “bumped into a gym equipment” on 25th July. [30][31][32]
Clinic A: ON August 18th she visited the clinic again to get the reports. She got the 2 weeks medical certificate but could not issue one for 6 weeks injury. [33][34][35]
Clinic B: She goes to another clinic and this time she gets one by saying “beaten by another” and gets a medical certificate for 6 weeks as her previous tactic failed to get her a report. There is no sign of medical treatment being received by her in these reports. Just statements given by her. [36][37][38]
She was never pregnant in May or June. In May, her reports show that she had 4 weeks of amenorrhoea. That’s not an evidence for pregnancy. Atty Lee, after requesting her Clinic 3 where she went for testing pregnancies , acquired her real tests. [39][40][41][42][43]
Clinic C: She went to Clinic C on May 20th to get herself tested but the result is that she was no pregnant. However, she lied to Kim Hyun Joong. So even her miscarriage on June 1st is a lie. Pregnancy on June 13 is false, as well. Her reports show gonadotropin which means no pregnancy. [44]
She actively blackmailed Kim Hyun Joong throughout this entire ordeal. She demanded 600 million won from him, saying she would distort the slight altercation as assault. Her text messages are proof to that. She also edited several contents of the messages in order to make him look bad. When Hyun Joong’s father asked to reveal the real messages with her consent, she refused and said she wants privacy. [45][46]
She was the one who demanded him to write an apology letter and to publicise it. She modified the apology letter according to her will. She was also the one who demanded a non disclosure agreement for the 600 million won she received. [47]
Kim Hyun Joong’s lawyer requested for a Statement of Fact by her Orthopedics clinics a, b, and c and has submitted these to the court. However, she has only submitted text messages, no reports. Her messages are only proof that she lied to Kim Hyun Joong about the pregnancies. [48]
Her medical reports is a document that can be acquired within 10 minutes based only on the statement of the patient. [49]
She has no medical certificate for pregnancy or miscarriage. Instead, a certificate for amenorrhoea which is once again, solely based on her statement. [50] [51]
On her SNS, she said she went biking till Chuncheon while being pregnant. That’s a distance of over 100 kms. No pregnant woman would be advised to take such a dangerous ride. There were also instances where she drank alcohol, while being pregnant. [52]
After her miscarriage she drank alcohol (not allowed), seeming perfectly normal as she laughed along with friends. [53]
She changed her statement that she is suing HJ for psychological trauma caused by the miscarriage in 2014. Why is she suing him for for psychological trauma in 2015 if she was perfectly fine in 2014?
Miss A/Choi accused Kim Hyun Joong of abusing her on 30th of May 2014. She claimed to have suffered injuries on her face, shoulders, legs, rear end etc. which cost her 2 weeks of treatment. She sent the media photographs of the bruises on her arm, hand, legs and collarbone. She also accused him of beating her again on July 27th 2014 which caused her to fracture a rib. She was under treatment for 6 weeks. She sent the media her medical reports of these both injuries. Along with the reports, she sent text messages to show the exchange between KHJ and her, pictures of them together on dates to prove that she dated him for two years. She charged him with habitual domestic violence on four accounts.[1]
Kim Hyun Joong strongly denied all her claims except one where he said that their arguments got heated up and there was a slight physical altercation between both of them, which involved pushing from both parties. He said that they knew each other for two years but only dated in 2014 for a few months.
Media twisted his words and accused him of assault.[2] (Which btw, is against the law and media could get sued –Allkpop along with others article said he hit Choi even though Hyun Joong specifically stated a slight altercation– because every citizen has the right to be presumed innocent until found guilty in the court. He admitted to an altercation and not assault. There is a huge difference between both the terms.) English and Korean websites had not truthfully reported this, an attempt to sensationalise matters for click bait.
Choi then released a statement saying that if he didn’t apologise, admit and reflect on what he did, she’d charge him with arbitration.[3] Hyun Joong apologised on his official website (no link as the apology has been taken off) by simply saying that as a man, he could have handled the situation better and he was ashamed as to how things turned out to be.
Choi said she didn’t find his apology sincere and that she is in the process of assessing it. However, the very next day she dropped the charges and said that she did it as “a token of her last love for him and never intended to penalize him.” She even said that there was no monetary exchange involved. The court however had to finish it off in the records as she had charged him. So according to his admission to that one incident, he was fined for 5 million won. The prosecutors asked the court for the apology letter to be considered in their decision. [5]
February/post February 2015:
She then came out again on February 2015 saying that she and HJ had got back together and she is now carrying his child. Hyun Joong said that she hasn’t submitted him any medical proof like pregnancy tests. However, if she is indeed pregnant, and the baby after a DNA test is found out to be his, he would take responsibility for it. Choi said that she has plenty of evidences to prove her claims like text messages, medical reports, ultrasounds.[6][7]
She also sues 100 netizens for slander and defamation against her [8], sues Hyun Joong again for 1.6 billion won for psychological trauma caused to her during her current pregnancy [9]
She then suddenly said that she was pregnant in 2014 and the supposed assault caused her to miscarry, too. [10]
And then Kim Hyun Joong decided to countersue her instead. [11]
There are a few things we need to keep in mind here. In 2014, as revealed by Mr. Lee, KHJ had no proper legal representative or a lawyer provided by his agency. He was all alone in that battle. It was only in April 2015 that he decided to hire a personal lawyer to fight back. His agency has not given him support throughout this whole scandal, including now. Lawyer Lee Jae Man is appointed by Hyun Joong with his own personal money.
Kim Hyun Joong has countersued Choi’s civil suit. He has also slapped charges against her with a criminal suit and the investigation is on going.
The second hearing of Kim Hyun Joong vs Choi took place today at 4:30 pm KST. This session was all about submitting evidences and it was attended only by the legal representatives of both the parties. (Newsen)
In this hearing, stress was put on whether Choi was pregnant last year for which she claimed Kim assaulted her leading to her miscarriage. Kim Hyun Joong’s side stands firm and assert that as per OB&G and Orthopedic reports- the pregnancy and assault claims made by Choi is false. KHJ’s attorney Lee Jae Man put across a point that going by facts and proof from reports taken from clinics, Kim’s side say that there is no proof or evidence proving the pregnancy or miscarriage and prepare to submit 1.2 BW damage/penalty counterclaim for falsely claiming assault.
“We will trace A’s (Choi’s) bank account. By tracing bank account… we can find how many are involved as it looks too big for one person to carry out.” says KHJ’s attorney Lee Jae Man. Kim’s legal representatives think that Choi can be a flight risk. A report published by the Korean outlet Hanginu News, spoke of Kim’s legal representatives’ concerns regarding Choi fleeing the country. “Ms. Choi, his ex-girlfriend, might try to escape abroad.” they have stated in the said report. “The end of the second trimester of her pregnancy is approaching and there are several parties involved on Choi”s side,” said the representative. “There is speculation that she is likely to escape overseas.” To stop this from happening, Mr. Lee has requested for a ban on travelling for Choi if she makes any attempt to get away from South Korea. They have also requested the investigation (can) be done after delivery but stressed on the need of the ban of her trying to flee the country.
On another turn of events, Choi’s lawyer Seon stated that 600MW was never mentioned and that the statements about the settlement money starting from 30MW going upto 600MW is not true. He further states that a separate criminal charge will be filed in this regard. “Choi/A never specifically mentioned the amount of 600MW…Will file defamation criminal charge against Mr. Lee, who made a false claim of 600MW” Seon said in an interview with OSEN. However, this is a different issue altogether and will/might be carried out separately. Attorney Lee is said to counter sue if in case this is carried out.
Mr. Lee Jae Man told in an interview to OSEN that “If Choi files a criminal charge, we will counter sue them regarding A’s/Choi’s false claims made last year against KHJ.” Seon spoke to MidNiteEntBiz and has claimed that he has the pregnancy tester, though he didn’t submit it today. They have also gone ahead and spoken in front of the court saying they have a lot of text messages and they will be needing time to sort them out as there are many. Addressing the current pregnancy issue, Kim’s legal representatives said “Ms. Choi”s side stated their is a witness who can prove she is pregnant but our side is ready with a witness who can confirm the fact that there is not enough data supporting the pregnancy.”
Due to the opposition’s (Choi’s) inability to provide sufficient proof regarding her pregnancy, a third pretrial date was set on September 23rd 2015.

In a recent interview with OBS, Atty Lee Jae Man revealed some significant facts related to Kim Hyun Joong’s case, entering whole new dimension of suspicions and scepticism. With everything unfolding, it is becoming apparent that Kim Hyun Joong was falsely accused by Choi aka Miss A.
Kim Hyun Joong’s side has announced their determination to countersue Choi because her claim of miscarriage by assault in 2014 has been proven false.
“With regard to the claim of the 6 week rib fracture injury by Kim Hyun-joong, it is true that the other side had the 6 week injury but the evidences, that it was not inflicted by Kim Hyun-joong, have been being acquired,” said Atty Lee. He further revealed that during the time that she alleged her pregnancy, there were such circumstantial evidences as she consumed alcohol, rode a bike, and took x-ray pictures. But when the statements of fact were returned from the hospitals, it is found that past pregnancy and miscarriage are not actually facts.
Atty Lee affirms that the miscarriage and pregnancy are lies and Choi had deceived everyone with her falsehoods. “According to the returned statements of fact, we received responses that the claim of pregnancy and miscarriage by assault in May last year was false. It’s a fact that she was never pregnant. It is a fact that she did not receive any treatment for miscarriage. Also for the 2 week injury medical certificate, there’s no diagnosis of injury by belly assault. So because all these are falsehoods, we will submit the returned statements of fact as evidences,” as confirmed by Atty Lee.
Kim Hyun Joong, in despair, gave Choi 600 million won as settlement demanded by her when she threatened and blackmailed to defame him as someone who caused a miscarriage by assault. But as her claim has been found untrue, KHJ is ready to counterclaim. The minimum damage penalty will be 1.2 billion won.
“As the other side got 600MW by blackmailing with false claims, we will countersue for 600MW,” says Atty Lee. “It is the other side that breached non-disclosure of settlement, as they stated they didn’t receive the settlement even after they did receive it. So demand will be made for 600MW penalty. Also even though miscarriage by assault is untrue, she received an interview with media this year that claimed she miscarried due to repeated beating on the belly by Kim Hyun-joong during her pregnancy in May last year. So she had been answering the interview with a false claim and defamed Kim Hyun-joong’s reputation, so defamation damage will be included. It will be 600MW and 600MW plus defamation damage, which the amount has not decided yet. So the counterclaim will be filed over the amount of 1.2BW.”
Atty Lee Jae Man has declared that through this case all of her falsehoods will be uncovered and he will proceed to file criminal charges along with civil counterclaim against Choi. The lawsuits are assumed to be over and all the disputes are to end by the time Kim Hyun Joong returns from his military commitment. The next hearing is scheduled for July 22nd 2015.

It has only been a little over a month since Kim Hyun Joong enlisted. And once again, he’s making all his fans and family proud! Kim Hyun Joong enlisted on 12th May, 2015 and completed his basic training on 18th of June, 2015. He graduated, and has been sent to serve as a patrol guard at Paju. In the midst of his training, his fellow team mates have come to know him. Without any surprise, they all have only good things to say about Hyun Joong. Here are a couple of personal accounts about their thoughts on Kim Hyun Joong:
“My brother said HJ was nice. Signatures are prohibited but HJ secretly gave him one. HJ also gave him soap and even said Happy Birthday. He said HJ is training well and has a good personality.”
“So somebody went to see the other soldier and the soldier was with 김현중 (Kim Hyun Joong). They talked about 김현중. They said, 김현중 is unbelievably good and nice (in his personality). Also he doesn’t show any special (in a bad way) attitude (that most celeb should have). 김현중 uses some curse words (but not in a bad way, but normal way– so that 김현중 can shows that 김현중 and other people are in the same page, not the special celeb.) Also the army training teachers were very much amused because 김현중 takes the lead any work and services very diligently. — Summary: Everybody in the army were impressed by 김현중’s good personality, modesty and hard-working.”
Kim Hyun Joong has always been known as 4D and funny, making everyone laugh. But what is most talked about is how Hyun Joong is more than that. How he takes up responsibility and ensures that he sees it through. He believes that kindness can go a long way in this world.
